Photographing this engagement session was a different level of special for me because I have known this handsome guy here, Cody, since good ol' kindergarden (yes that long ago). Not only have I known him for basically my whole life but he has been a huge part of my husband and I's lives since elementary. Cody was the best man for our wedding and now my husband will have the honor of being the best man for his wedding. Even though it took Cody a good chunk of time to pop the question (finally), I am so thrilled that his heart has chosen such an amazing, adventurous and beautiful lady as his soulmate. I was head over heels when they had mentioned Muir Woods, CA as their location for their engagement portraits. With these two's connection, a little champaign and my husband as my assistant for the day, I would say set us up for a fun shoot (and can I get an big whoohoo for all this gorgeous sunlight!) So grateful to have friends that put their trust in me to help freeze this exciting time through portraits like these. Cannot wait to for this epic wedding to take place next year, let the countdown begin.
